Finish your skincare routine. Press the puff lightly into the cushion and tap off any excess on the inside of the lid.

Pat onto skin from the centre of the face outward, using light pressing motions rather than dragging. Build in thin layers only where more coverage is needed, such as around the nose or over areas of redness.

• Finish skincare with your usual sunscreen and let it set for a few minutes before patting on the cushion for a smoother lay-down.
• Pick your shade by undertone first (C, N or W), then by depth; when between two shades, the lighter one is easier to warm up with bronzer.
