Diisostearyl Malate leads the formula and carries the pigment, while shea butter and a run of plant oils — jojoba, sweet almond, apricot kernel, evening primrose, olive, argan, and camellia — keep the melt soft rather than slippery. Wear it alone for everyday colour, or over a tint when a matte formula has gone flat and needs shine and depth back.

Twist up only a small amount — the soft formula can break if the bullet is over-extended. Glide gently from the centre outward.

Build more layers for deeper colour, and reapply as needed. It also sits well over a tint or liner.

• For a gradient lip, tap a light layer all over, build a second at the centre, and blend the edges.
• Keep it out of heat and direct sun — the formula softens in a hot car or bag.
