A once-a-week, rinse-off peeling gel that combines four types of chemical exfoliant at 35% combined acids (brand-stated). Glycolic Acid, Lactic Acid and Mandelic Acid, the AHAs, resurface rough, dull-looking skin, while Salicylic Acid (2%) and Capryloyl Salicylic Acid (LHA) work inside pores to help clear the look of congestion. Gluconolactone, a PHA, adds a gentler layer of exfoliation.

Panthenol, a form of vitamin B5, Cyanocobalamin, a form of vitamin B12, and Tocopherol, a form of vitamin E, help support the skin barrier, while Allantoin and Hydrolyzed Hyaluronic Acid help keep skin calm-looking and hydrated. The gel stays put on the skin while it works, then rinses away clean. It suits normal, combination and oily skin with congested pores, dullness or rough texture, ideally with some prior experience using acids. Cyanocobalamin gives the gel its natural pink tint.

Use once a week, in the evening only. Apply a generous, even layer to clean, dry skin, avoiding the eyes and lips. Leave on for no more than 10 minutes, then rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water.

Follow with a soothing, hydrating toner and moisturizer. Apply broad-spectrum sunscreen every morning, especially in the days after a peel.

• First time using it? Start with 3–5 minutes and work up to the full 10 as your skin adjusts. Mild tingling can occur; if you feel strong burning, rinse right away.
• Keep retinol, scrubs and other acids out of your routine the night before and the two nights after your peel.
