The bottle holds two layers: a hydrating water layer and a fine powder layer. Rice extract and rice amino acids help skin feel moisturized and supple, while kaolin and soft powders help absorb excess oil on the skin's surface. Shaken together, the milky texture spreads easily, absorbs without a sticky feel and leaves a smooth, radiant-looking finish that suits year-round use.

Shake well to mix the two layers. After cleansing, dispense a moderate amount into your palms and gently pat onto the face until absorbed.

Follow with serum and moisturizer. Use morning, evening or both, depending on how your skin feels.

• On oily or shiny areas such as the T-zone, press a little extra onto a cotton pad and sweep it over those areas for a fresher-feeling finish.
• Use it as the first hydrating step in the morning under sunscreen. The powder layer helps keep the base feeling less slick.
