Massaged in, the balm turns into a silky oil that glides rather than drags, so heavy complexion products and long-wear formulas loosen without aggressive rubbing. Adding a little water emulsifies the oil into a milky wash that rinses away cleanly, leaving skin soft and comfortable and ready for a water-based second cleanse.

With completely dry hands, scoop a small amount using the included spatula and warm it between your fingertips. Apply to dry skin and massage in slow circular motions, giving eye makeup and sunscreen a few extra seconds to soften before you work over them.

Add a little water and keep massaging until the balm turns milky and lightweight, then rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water. Follow with a water-based cleanser to complete a double cleanse.
